The Keyboard Group is a "club within a club",  providing a friendly, informal get together for Beginers and Improvers you do not have to be a Keyboard player or own a Keyboard. If you have an interest in playing music and like to learn more.Come and see us , you will be most welcome.

Our evenings vary in activities from:

Playing purely to entertain usually in a round robin fashion.

Providing a  knowledge- base for each other about the "Technical side" of the keyboard from basics (Styles and Registrations)to more advanced topics such as Revoicing , using Files and Folders also using the PC Internet to access useful websites. This can be acheived by interactive discussion between members or more specific "Tutorial" evenings.

We also hold a Play Another Keyboard night which allows members to experience playing models different to their own. To date members have access to Yamaha, Roland and Korg models.

From time to time Local Music Shops approach the Club to demonstrate the latest keyboard models  and answer questions on all Keyboard topics. This is a good opportunity to  get hands on ex[perience.Check out the keyboard section and What's On pages as details are published when available.

If you're interested in coming along to one of these demonstrations or would like to visit on a keyboard night, again just drop us an email and we will register your interest

CLMC Keyboard Orchestra Members

Conductor: Gareth Kibble

Where there is limited space at venues,we have our "Round Robin" players consisting of orchestra  and non orchestra players. These are a small group of individuals who play several solo pieces in turn. This has proved most successful to both audience and players although the number of performances may be limited this year. Note this only applies to the "Round Robin" players. Please use the contact page for availability and we will try our best.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BOOK THE CLMC KEYBOARD ORCHESTRA or ROUND ROBIN PLAYERS, please use the 'Contact' page to send for more details.

Thanks to the skills of Simon and Peter.

Several members have now demonstrated their music on You Tube.  Check out the "Links" page

About twice a year we hold a  " Fish and Chip" supper, this usually includes entertainment from another musical group or soloist.
